welcome to @stickyJesus.com!

We’re over the top that you stopped in to see us and we want you to stick with us!

If you are interested in how to live  out your faith in a web-based world we hope you find this site a perfect place to stop, soak, and contribute.  We felt the birth pains of inspiration for what is possible for Christ followers in this era of social media explosion. As we make clear our intentions and lay out our hearts – we are impressed to be faithful in three areas: learn from Christ, be transformed, and demystify social media. Because we believe in the sovereignty of God and that each of us has a place in His-story, we accept this day as His perfect time for each of us to connect for Christ online.

We don’t question His timing or this crazy world around us; in fact we fully embrace it. We know we are called to follow Him, and that He charged us to share the truth – to the ends of the earth. Never before in history has the ability to accomplish the Great Commission been more possible. Praise God for the people and the technology that created the 2.0 web platform. We are learning, growing, and stepping boldly into such a time as this. It is a glorious time where Light, Truth, and Hope can be shared around the world with the simple completion of a few key strokes.

We want to understand ALL that it means to be a Christ follower online. It’s time to maximize what we have been given. We know the web is changing at high velocity every day—so fast one could easily become overwhelmed by it. It’d be easy to not engage, to completely opt out. Regardless of all the rapid changes, we serve an unchanging God. You’re here. We’re here. Say ‘YES’ to the invitation and join us on the 2.0 platform for His glory.

There are already many Christ followers that share our heart for what is possible. We’ve encountered you on Twitter and Facebook. We read your blogs, comment on your walls, are inspired by your posts and are cheering you on from the front row of this virtual universe. You’re sticking your faith to the walls of social platforms and loving on people in this place without walls or boundaries. Thanks for showing up and being sticky for Jesus!

stick-y (stik′ē) adj. 1 The Message that holds fast, adheres, and clings to the heart of every generation. 2  Eternal content independent of time, change, and cyberspace.

Let’s unite, learn from each other, and equip all Christ followers – to step boldly onto this new mission field. In this space ANY Christ follower can make a difference.  That said , we accept that in order to make a difference, we must be different. And just to be completely transparent, we don’t want to figure out how to get the world to follow us, we want the world to follow, connect, and stick to Jesus through us.

“If you only look at us, you might well miss the brightness. We carry this precious Message around in the unadorned clay pots of our ordinary lives. That’s to prevent anyone from confusing God’s incomparable power with us.”

II Corinthians 4:7 – 8 The Message

So what does living out YOUR  faith online mean to you?

Living my faith online is being myself without pretense but also not being afraid or bashful about welcoming a spiritual conversation.

I’m so excited about @StickJesus and its impact in the Kingdom. Thank you T&T for doing this.

I love what you’re doing here and can’t wait to see how we can spread the Good News to so many more people by using web 2.0! Living my faith online means being unashamed and unafraid of declaring my faith in Christ on each and every social media channel I use in hopes of helping others get to know Him.

Sweet! Good call…Facebook, Twitter etc. are like the modern day marketplace where we can reach out and touch so many within “earshot” all at once, or see immediately the needs of specific individuals as the cries of their hearts move down our newsfeeds. Let’s take every opportunity to make the Lord known in this darkening world. Who knows? We may have less time than we think…

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=671101964 Jennifer Adams Klein

P.S. Just had a thought: They will know us by our love. Which is really His love, shining through us!

  • Toni

It really does all come down to love-everything. Thanks for the encouragement & support, Jennifer. If we link arms as believers and stop talking about temporal things, His light will crash through the darkness. Glad you are on board!

  • Matt&Zoe

I cant wait to read the book!!! SO totally pumped and ready to share Gods Glory all over this world through the web!!! Thank you for writing this book!!!

  • Margaret Reynolds

I LOVE thsi concept! When we think back historically to the early Christians they practiced their faith in every way they lived their life–saying prayers as a part of their daily activities, harvesting the grain of the earth, and knowing it was God’s abundance. We lead such a shiny life we have to step out if it to practice faith. This concept helps us incorporate our faith in what we already do! How powerful!

  • Tami Heim

    Bless you!

There is probably no time in history when we need to reach people more than now. This is fantastic idea and the possibilities for outreach are limitless. Congratulations on a terrific idea and what we know will be an amazing book written to reflect His glory. Can hardly wait to read it. Ken and Kare Rentzsch
