you’ve got hope. are you posting it?

Whoa—there’s a lot of noise and a lot of need online. The chatter is endless, the links are incessant, and the messages can begin to blur before long.

It’s easy sometimes to feel like no one is listening, you aren’t really connecting, or that the message of Christ isn’t flashy enough to get the attention you know it deserves. That’s where you are wrong.

People everywhere need help.

And as a Christ follower online in today’s world, you’re fully stocked when it comes to directing others to the help, and the hope, they need.

As communication methods radically change, you can breathe easy in the unchanging tenets of your faith. The truths of the Scriptures that define and guide you remain static in the white waters of culture change. And, can be shared with others in confidence.

Don’t overthink it. The word of God answers every need. Your role is simply to hear the need, find the scripture, pray, and post in your online communities.

need  –  read  –  post

When God feels far away  –   Psalm 139  –   He is with me always.

When you’re scared  –  Psalm 91  –  He’s my refuge and strength.

When you’re discouraged  –   Isaiah 40  –   God comforts His people.

When you’ve got the blues  –   Psalm 34  –  He delivers me from sadness.

When you forget your blessings  –  Psalm 103   –  His benefits for you are boundless.

When you’re down and out  –  Romans 8:31–39  –   God is for us—that’s all that matters.

Can you add your favorites to the need, read, and post list?

Sandy – I know the power of His peace in turmoil as I have been waiting for the reports from Haiti and trusting Him to protect our kids there. Both of these are powerful. Thanks for adding to the list! We have so much Hope – how can we NOT share it!
