Jesus was outrageous. Not a freak or a rebel, but a Savior. He turned hearts inside out and rocked the status quo so hard that even stone hearts shattered. One encounter with Jesus and the buzz was on. Everywhere He went Jesus performed powerful, outrageous acts, and the accounts spread like wildfire.
People couldn’t wait for Him to arrive. People couldn’t wait to be where He was. They heard about the five loaves and two fish. They gasped at the disabled beggar who picked up his mat and walked. They cried out when they heard of Lazarus walking out of the grave. There’s not a force in the world that could push back the holy fire of Jesus’ buzz.
God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. That means Jesus, through the power of the Holy Spirit, is still fully engaged in the business of holy, outrageous acts. He interrupts, breaks in, lifts up, makes new, and resurrects.
He remains the chief Miracle Maker—The One who makes the impossible possible.
“And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.”
John 21:25 ~ NKJV
Kind of makes you think, doesn’t it? If Apple customers can praise and celebrate the newest iPhone and Ben and Jerry’s customers can wait in mile-long lines for the unveiling of the newest ice cream flavor, how much more can we—satisfied (and sanctified) customers, saved by Jesus Christ—recommend Him to others within our spheres of influence?
You have the opportunity to give voice to the supernatural acts of God in this day and age. You are only a keyboard or text away from getting it done. Believers just like you are already stepping out and adding to Jesus’ phenomenal buzz.
Got to tell somebody what Jesus has done for you? Go ahead—let the buzz be heard—right here, right now.
