7 ways your words bring life

The Word was first, the Word present to God, God present to the Word. The Word was God in readiness for God from day one.

Everything was created through Him; nothing-not one thing!-came into being without Him.

What came into existence was Life, and the Life was Light to live by. The Life-Light blazed out of the darkness and the darkness couldn’t put it out.  John 1:1-5 , The Message

God ‘spoke’ life into existence. Through the power of His Word creation took its first breath. We often underestimate the power of our own words and the difference they make between life and death. We miss their weight and impact on us and others.

Do you get that? Really get that?

There was the day that you said, “Yes – I believe.” And the moment the words were spoken, you stepped from death into life.  Eternal life.  You made THE bold declaration,

“Jesus Christ is Lord.”

And now every time you proclaim Jesus, share the Truth, and walk in His Light, others are given a glimpse of the Life that is possible if they make the same confession.  Release the right words and seeds are planted with the harvest following close behind.  In such a time as this – you hold the words of Life and have access to an online mission field in desperate need of them.

Know the power of words and all the ways your words can bring Life to others:

  • Be grateful and publicly give Him glory.
  • Share only what is  good, kind, and true.
  • Add genuine value and encouragement to your online communities.
  • Seek opportunities to celebrate and acknowledge the accomplishments of others.
  • Be a faithful and accurate source of Scripture.
  • Share regular insights regarding what God shows you in His Word.
  • Publish God-honoring content such as links to inspiring blogs, videos, articles, news, sermons, and music.

Be life-giving – let your words illuminate whatever is true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and good. #Livesticky

Experimenting with using stanzas from some of the world’s greatest hymn’s, with links to related Scripture, in first post of the day.

Gordon – LOVE that! I have several old hymnals and the language is magnificent. Sharing from them would indeed spread beauty and truth. Thanks for letting us know about your ‘experiment’- we’ll be looking for you in the early morning stream, dear friend, and echoing what we find.
