When you surrendered your life to Christ and confessed Jesus as Lord – you were anointed by the Holy Spirit to be significant. Yes, that’s right, as your name was written in the book of life the nod was given and the expectation set that your life and words would proclaim His redemptive plan to restore whosoever believes. Now, like no other time in history, the significance of a Christ follower’s voice and potential impact for the kingdom has never been greater.

People are spending 110 billion minutes online each month. Correct—110 billion minutes. Step back in time one billion minutes and you find yourself in the world just after Christ walked it. Information and the speed at which it’s delivered are almost incomprehensible. And of course, because you’re reading this blog, you’re contributing to this enormous online investment of time and attention.


Online you can touch as many people in seconds as Paul and other kingdom game changers took a lifetime to reach. And like each of them, you possess God’s power to release the Truth and breathe His perspective into the current culture. A believer can make it happen with a prayer-packed heart, divine intentionality, and a Wi-Fi connected keypad. While the reality of this might cause your head spin – we want to help you spot your turns, find His focus, and move in the direction He ordains.

    I love the encouragement, Tami! Living or faith boldly online can be frightening at times, but the benefits far outweigh everything else. In my own efforts, I’ve had the chance to talk to and walk with so many people whom I otherwise would never have met!

    We can encourage each other by doing exactly what you’re doing here and by living the example. Keep up the great work. :)

    On my blog I recently started a series called On a Mission where I interview people who have gone on mission trips.  Its purpose was to help wimps like me who would never dream of going to India or Africa or anyplace without indoor plumbing and a 4 star hotel see that going on mission trips aren’t so bad and can be highly rewarding.

    THANK YOU for your acknowledgment that “there’s a mission field right here.”  Since I started my blog I’ve been amazed at the positive responses I’ve gotten from people.  I’ve gone from just finding an outlet for my whimsical ramblings to really making an impact on the spiritual lives of others.  Its a little overwhelming….

    Too bad I ordered @sitckyJesus last week :-(   so I’ll miss out on the discount. But I have enjoyed reading the book and gotten a lot of good info from it.  Can’t wait to finish it!

We may not even think it’s that big of a deal but because its our testimony and comes from His hand, it carries incredible power. You are doing that. Keep up the kingdom work—it matters!
