an invitation to share, unite, and make him known

Will you share the book of your heart?

God rewrote the text of my life when I opened the book of my heart to His eyes. ~ Psalm 18:24, The Message

It’s amazing to live in a time when your faith story can transmit digitally and be received globally. In our book @stickyJesus, and on this site, we’re passionate about what’s possible when you share and live out your faith online. Imagine what God would do if the body united digitally to make Him known.

Are you be willing to make that happen?

Everyone has a story to share

King David knew how desperately he needed God to cleanse his heart and rewrite the text of his life. Imagine if David hadn’t shared his story? Think about how his experiences bring us joy, comfort, and assurance in moments of great need. We see his checkered life and what God can do even in times of great weakness. We connect with his exuberant triumphs and agonizing failures. In his story we relate, find hope, and understand the consequences of sin.

Isn’t it possible that your story could do the same for someone else?

When you consider all Christ has done for you, an awe-filled wave of emotion rushes in and gratitude swells. You’re the keeper of the stickiest story ever told. That sacred moment you decided to follow Christ sticks with you forever. You know the condition of your life before and the new purpose you found once you gave yourself to Him.

Unite for impact

Today we excited to share what we know about the “His Is Mine” (H.I.M.) Evangelism Campaign. Inspired by Max Lucado’s new book, God’s Story, Your Story: When His Becomes Yours, this initiative enables the body of Christ to digitally unite, be heard, and reflect the power of God’s story in millions of individuals’ lives. The vision is to create a movement with significant and eternal outcomes.

Make Him known

The official website for H.I.M. doesn’t launch until mid September, but today you’re invited to get involved and be among the first ones to upload your faith story. Then when the site launches, your story will be live, searchable, and wired to be viral.

If this is the first time you’ve ever shared your story, here are a few questions to help you prepare your upload for the site:

  • How would you describe yourself before you knew Christ?
  • What consumed your thinking, filled your time, and held your heart?
  • What changed when you heard about Jesus?
  • When did you make the decision for Christ?
  • Who was with you when you prayed and first professed your faith?
  • Where exactly were you and where did you go next?
  • How is your life different today because of that moment and decision?

Now you’re ready. Go to the beta site, HisIsMine.com/beta. Follow the easy directions. Select the communication format you prefer – text, audio, or video. Upload your story. Save it.

It’s so easy and once you’re done, your story is set and ready to be blasted through the networks for His purpose and glory. Thanks for being a movement maker. We can’t wait to see what God is going to do as digital scribes unite to make Him known.

How did someone’s story bring you closer to your decision for Christ?
