Trusting the One who crumbled Jericho

. . . my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live. Psalm 63:3-4

Dear Lord,
I have beheld Your power and Your glory. The times we’ve shared together have planted a trust and an awe deep within me. I can trust You to guard my heart from anything coming my way today.

When the storms come, You will enfold me in a safe place. You are holy, and I, too, desire to be holy. I claim my inheritance and walk boldly in the new life You’ve given me. I don’t just believe in You, Lord; I believe You—every word and every promise. Therefore, I will never walk alone.

Your Word is a lamp to my feet and to my thoughts in this dark land. I stand in Your power—and declare war against the accuser online today. You are the God that crumbled Jericho; the God who cracked open the sea; and the God who ripped the veil once and for all. There is nothing that can separate me from the power of Your love in the Land of Shiny Things. Nothing. Amen.

Perhaps it’s because the one thing needed to ignite God’s power, is the one thing we refuse to fully render: trust
