Will you pray for unity among believers online?

When we join our hands together, the world will see the cross. (Thanks to reader Kimberly McCarthy --@Kmac4him -- for sharing this photo after she read this post.)

Mother Teresa said if we have no peace it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other.

She understood that changing the world—really changing the world—isn’t a solo sport. And so it goes with sharing your faith online.

Join us at Kingdom Bound 2011 all week!

This week we’re going to be taking you inside the mega worship fest Kingdom Bound 2011 at Darien Lake Resort outside of Buffalo New York. This amazing event attracts more than 45,000 people each year. Why? To worship, learn, fuse hearts, and and have a ton of fun doing it!

@stickyJesus has been invited (and blessed) to teach three daily breakout sessions to pastors and leaders on how to use social media to amplify Kingdom outreach. We’re having a blast and plan to share this fun time with you each step of the way.

Please pray for us this week and let us know how we can pray for you! Please pray:

  • Open hearts and open minds to the @stickyJesus challenge of intentional outreach online.
  • That lives are touched through the ministries, music, and messages being shared here 24/7.
  • That families and friends create deeper bonds and that the body of Christ experiences supernatural unity.
  • That prayer and woship drive every agenda and busy schedule. And, that quiet moments with God empower those organizing, leading, performing, teaching, and attending.

Buckle up believers, May promises to be a month of unity, prayer, and power. If depositing God’s unchanging truth into today’s culture is important to you, we urge you to personally get involved with two key movements.

Internet Evangelism Month

“You don’t need to be technical. There are many simple ways to be salt and light in cyberspace,” says Tony Whittaker, Internet Evangelism (IE) Day coordinator.

May 1, Sunday, marks the kick-off of Internet Evangelism Month and May 15 is the official worldwide IE Day. IE Month encourages believers to take the national movement of digital evangelism to their local churches.
